MY HAND, AGHHH!

Been busy with art and loving it :) Paint Tool Sai is fantastic.

Currently I'm collaborating with Samu-kun from Lemmasort Forums on his visual novel game Homeward ! He needs help coloring the massive amount of CGs in the game (Which is very good by the way, you should download the beta!).

My hand hurts from all the art I've been doing! But it's a good kind of hurt. :)

I've been listening to lots of electronic music while drawing. Found a couple new artists I like, including the delicious Drum and Bass artist(s?), Pendulum:

"It's been a long time. How have you been?"

Over a month since I posted last. Haha, school really kicked my butt.

Now that it's summer, I can start working on games again! (This chick makes games? what?)

I have a few games planned that I know I won't finish. However I'm just about done writing my first game, which is a re-make of an old visual novel game I made with the program Ren'py . I made the original when I was 14, it was crappy crap! To see how bad it is, please please do not click here.

Did you click there? I'm sorry. I promise that the re-make will be different from the original. (In quality at least.)
Basic Plot: You play a guy who's house-sitting for his rich parents. A pink-haired girl wearing cat ears comes to your door on a stormy night, begging for shelter. She seems innocent enough, but what does she really want...?

Hoping to finish it soon.


Other game ideas are a dating sim for girls, another romance visual novel, and a girly platformer to be made with Engine 001 (which would probably the most interesting of the lot, since you actually can play the game!)

I'm quite enjoying this hobby of game-making... I don't think I'll ever make any money from it, but that's okay. Just the fact that someone would even play my games is worth all the money in the world. :)

I need to go talk to my counselors about my science classes at  college! Aaah!

Busy busy!

It's the end of my Freshman Year at college, I have so much to do! I've been meaning to post something for quite awhile, but I haven't had the patience to do so due to all this school stress :( I love to learn new things, but this is too much at once!


Anyways, I have quite a few sketches I've been working on. You can see them below:

Sketch for a commission, I think it came out quite nicely. I drew it while watching "I ALMOST got away with it" on the Discovery channel, it was pretty amusing.

Miku Hatsune fanart, trying to do more drawings with real backgrounds xD I'll finish lining soon...

And here's a parade of notebook doodles! The majority of my drawings are done in notebooks during school, I do studies of things I see and draw ideas for characters. I usually draw more realistic things in my notebook for practice, I only usually color my anime drawings because they're less complicated and I can finish them with my limited attention span after working on my homework. (I honestly do not want to put effort into anything but doodling and sleeping after I finish a draft or a pile of equations.)

Studies of artwork in my art history class. Came out quite well if you ask me, I need to do more studies, though.

Math notes and character designs. The mustachioed man down there is actually a shape-shifting alien, he transformed himself into a form that he thought might be more pleasing to the main character of the story (since his true form is pretty much a disgusting pile of goop). The aliens think mustaches are the most attractive aspect a human male can have.  Above him are some super hero designs. The girl with the gloves is actually quite small, she's supposed to be about 4'8, but she can destroy things easily with her giant robotic fists.

Trying to creat different looking faces. I really need to do more studies, these came out pretty awful. also, the alien from before biting the main character's leg at the right, then later on kissing the wound to "make it all better" in his human form at the bottom.

Double post: New Logo!

Made up the logo for this place :P It was fun, I feel like I'm getting better with Photoshop every time I use it.

The "lace" on the logo is based off of this adorable lace I used to have in my bedroom as a baby. Yeah, I still remember that, hahaha. My mom decorated the entire place with lace and Beatrix Potter decorations. (I'm her only girl after 2 boys, so of course she'd go all out with the girly stuff!) Being surrounded by the cute decorations and stylized animals really inspired me to start drawing when I was young; and I'm still super inspired by Beatrix Potter to this day!

That's all for now, I'll be posting sketches of a current commission soon if the commissioner gives me permission. :) And I also have a pokemon speed paint on the way! I'll post it here when it's done as well.

Spring is here! Bunnies :)

 

Here's some bunnies I drew :D I should draw more! The first was referenced from a bunny photo, the other one was hand-drawn.

Sping is finally here, but it's actually colder than it has been for 3 weeks outside where I live D: Not fun. I just hope it doesn't snow anymore, we need rain, not snow!

 

On a random note, I beat the 5th gym leader in Pokemon: Black and White this morning. Feeling somewhat accomplished, I haven't gone this fast in a game for awhile. It's very fun and relaxing, I just wish pokemon were real :( I'd love to run around and play with them!
